Hi,
I'm using a commercial version of the WWRTE editor in our CMS system.
When pasting from word (with the special function) the html isn't cleaned up complete.
<DIV style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><STRONG>Lorum ipsum</DIV> <DIV style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"></DIV>
The tag style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" shouldn't be there.
Can i solve this issue by editing the javascript that cleans up the paste action?
Cheers.
Tim

You could give it ago, however the paste from word tool is more of a 'best effort' rather than something which is perfect as MS Word places so much bloated preparatory code into a pasted word document, which changes between different versions, that it best to try and avoid pasting from word altogether.
In fact I would say that if you feel compelled to write in MS Word that before pasting it into the editor you should first paste it into Notepad and then paste it from there to the editor so it only copies across the text and not the rest of the preparatory code hidden within the document.
