I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't turn it up in a search.

We have several users that we have had to place in 'moderated' status due to unwanted behavior but are not quite ready to suspend or delete them.  Unfortunately, we've discovered that they are using PMs to contact other members with inappropriate content.  When we moderated them, I also turned off their edit and delete permissions so they couldn't go out and change a post after we approved it, but there are two places that we don't seem to be able to control:  their signature line and the PMs, both of which they are using for editorial content.  (Note that when they change their signature line to have their say, it goes on all their prior posts - not just ones we have yet to approve.)  I know this sounds a little 'big brother-ish', but we're trying to take a high road and still allow them to participate in a controlled way.

Is there any way to disable the PM capability for select users?
Any way to control the signatures selectively?

Believe me, we would love to not have to do ANY of this.
Thanks!

woodstock.. why dont you just create a new category for them and make it so so you cna label them as something else and be able to have better control of them... give them a Guest status or something of that sort... And if you are having that big of a problem with them.. limit them down to certain sections of you forum and then hide the forums from everyone else but those people and they can still think they are getting their point across..  or just flat out suspend their account
