Hi,

I've just signed up with We Wiz and have installed SQL Server Management Studio to setup tables, views, etc. in my database, but whenever I try to expand the "Database" node in the Object Viewer tree, I get an error, basically relating to the fact that I don't have permissions to acces the first database it sees, which is "aspnetdb". After OK is clicked on the error message, no other databases are displayed!! Can someone help me please?! I don't want to have to resort to T-SQL just to create a few tables.

The problem will be that you need SQL Admin permissions to view some of the columns you have in the Object Explorer Window in SQL Management Studio.

On the Databases node on the Object Explorer window you will see some column names at the top, right click on this and remove the columns that you do not have permission to view, such as Recovery Model, Compatibility Level, Owner, etc.
