Some forum software has a special place to enter information that displays as as "Forum Guidelines," and remains in place (without a date) permanently.

What's the best way to do this with the Webwiz forum? Is a sticky topic or announcement the best solution? And what's the difference between those two?

A sticky topic will appear at the top of a specific forum category, but above the posts
An announcement does the same thing, but is at the very very top (if that makes any sense)

You could create an announcement and post it to all topics categories, thus it would appear in every forum category throughout the board

You could also include something in your header if you would llike.. a breif discription of what your guidelines might be.. I would stick with an Announcement though as you can display it on all the forums
