i have a banner with flash movie inbedded and would like to know if i can use the banner on my forum header banner

You would need to edit the includes/header.asp file to add the code to add your Flash Banner.

so i need to add the code from flash to the file?

Flash can not be added like a normal image as it requires plugins to work.

You would need to look up the code on the Google to see what HTML code you need to use in order to display a Flash Movie.

However, I would avoid using Flash for a banner as it will slow down your website, and those people without Flash on their browser (universities, schools, corporations, etc) would not be able to view or see your Flash movie.
