Godaddy does not allow scripts to run in files.  Can forum be setup manually, have set up other forums manually, but nothing seams to work here, tried Access and mysql.

What do you mean by 'Godaddy does not allow scripts to run in files.'

Web Wiz Forums is not a script it is an ASP application and the setup wizard works fine on GoDaddy.

I tried to set up a Access db, godaddy requires it to be in a specified directory.  Read/write only cannot be modified.

So I switched to a Mysql db, connection tested ok, but when I hit the next button on the set up screen it loops back to the opening screen asking if its a new install.  Set up Seems to be stuck in a loop?
Database does not set up on server.
According to Godaddy only read/write can be done on a file not modify.   So Wiz forum would have to manually set up connection and build database.  Has anyone tried this?

After adding data to database_settings I get this error message-

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while executing SQL query on database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_getSessionData()_get_session_data
File Name:- functions_session_data.asp

Error details:-

Update

Got the database connection to work.
Had to go into the setup files and delete any references to the other databases.
Why it worked I don't know........
