I now have webwiz forums 9.64 installed on my web site. I have a MySql database all ready to use.
But when I try to access webwiz forums I am greeted with the following message:
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.67-log]Table
'xxx.tblConfiguration' doesn't exist
Now I guess that I am supposed to run a script to create the database tables, but for the life of me I cannot find that script. I have tried several ASP scripts on the forums web site (setup.asp etc), but none of them hit pay dirt.
The installation instructions for webwiz forums and a MySql database don't seem that great, they seem to go straight to show an image of what the screen looks like for selecting options, without advising what the URL is.

If this is a new forum kaz then lets start again and make sure everything goes better this time. http://www.webwiz.net/webwizforums/kb/mySQL_install.asp" rel="nofollow - The instructions are here , but lets go through it step by step
I would do this: Create your database first by going into your control panel (with whoever you host with) and create a new MySQL database, and create a user and the password
Next - download the web wiz software
Then, upload the forum folder and all its sub folders just as they are
Then, go back into your administration on your hosting, and check that the database folder has read and write permissions
If they do, then type into your browser www.mywebsite.com/forum/ This is an example web address only!
It should then come up with this page:

It will be a new installation so click the new installation

And then http://www.webwiz.net/webwizforums/kb/mySQL_install.asp" rel="nofollow - just follow the rest of the instructions from point 9 onwards
If you get stuck again, then PM me and I'll see what I can do for you
