database error?

i used the online compact database tool and now i get this error when i go to post or reply.
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has
occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum
administrator.

Error details:-
Microsoft JET
Database Engine
The changes you requested to the table were not
successful because they would create duplicate values in the index,
primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields
that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to
permit duplicate entries and try again.
any ideas? thanks

The error means the database is corrupted.
This is quite common with Access databases, which is why we do not support it in a production environment, if you decide to still use it anyway in a production environment you need to make sure you back it up regularly.
The first thing to do is try downloading the database and use the compact and repair tools in MS Access. If that doesn't work you will need to roll back to your last backup.
