I am running wwForum on a Win XP Pro SP3 with IIS 5.1 and a MS Access MDB.

I have the free version of MS SQL Server 2008 (SQL Server Express (32-bit)) running on my machine capable of creating an MDF database. I have never used the 2008 server yet.

Do you have any guidelines or instructions for installing wwForum on the MS 2008 SQL Server Express?

Update...

As per the wwForum Install Instructions, I downloaded SQL Server Management Studio (178 mb) and successfully added a new database called "webwizforums." However...

After numerous attempts to put my new installation under my XP Pro IIS default website, I was never able to get any new wwForum to work on my IIS server. I even deleted my original version in the event that two versions would not be allowed. I successfully reinstalled the original version.

Can I upgrade my Access MDB connection to my SQL Server Express DB in the working IIS folder?

Better Update...

Everything seems to be in order now, but I'm not sure about the Host Name of my Server or my username and password credentials.

I couldn't find a way to give the database its own U/P, so I used my Windows Login, and then blank spaces. Still no success.

In SQL Server Management Studio if you go to Security -> Logins you can create additional users who you can then give permission to for your database.

By default an sa (system administrator) account should have been created in SQL Server for administering databases.
