I was wondering is this is possable. I seen on other forums where rss feeds from news sites is pulled into a board and each news topic is its own thread.

how can we setup a rss feed on a board where news topics can be posted as a thread. members will not be able to post threads on this board but they can reply in the threads? I have this kind of board already setup on my forum but I have to post the items myself. this would free up of my timethi

one rule we have is anything posted from other sites much have the url so the url to the site is required.

It is something that has been considered before, but has not yet gone beyond the planning stage due to the complexities of implementing such a feature.

You also have to be careful about including news articles from news sites within forums as many do not like it even with a link back to the original article as we have received solicitors letters in the past from major news corporations regarding copyright infringement for forums we host doing this type of thing.
