Bruce:

Is the Existing Membership API still supported? It appears to be, but when I attempt to use it I get the following error:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_existingMemberAPI()_add_new_user
File Name:- functions_member_API.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'Real_name', table 'psmini.dbo.tblAuthor'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.

Looks like an issue with your database the Real_Name field in the tblAuthor table should allow Null values.

Edit the Real_Name field in the tblAuthor table and set it to allow Null values.
