Hi Bruce,

If i choose to require visitors to state a location and implement the 3 additional options as required fields also, how will this effect my existing members?

I haven't tried it, but I would assume they would be fine until they attempt to edit their profile, which is when they would be required to fill them out.

Scotty32 is quite right, existing members would be required to fill in these fields if they edit their profile.

The moderators (and myself) in our forum are really chomping at the bit to have that ability - require a location.
That can't prevent them from lying, but at least it will catch the majority of folks who are honest...
I can't wait until this is ready to be applied to our forum!
