Subject: page cannot be found error

I created the categories and the forums under one. When clicking on the forum, it prompts "The page cannot be found" error. I noticed that it links to a HTML page that is not inside the folder it's supposed to be. Is it maybe because the IIS does not allow files being generated? I checked the wwForum.mdb and noticed the forum names are there fine.

It sounds like you have enabled the URL Rewrite from the SEO page and your server you are using does not support URL Rewriting.

You need to turn off the 'URL Rewriting' from the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) page in the admin area. This will stop links pointing to the HTML pages that would be produced if you had support for URL Rewriting on the server you are using.

Members using an iphone can not see the forum because of the url rewriting, I can not find where cancel the url rewriting ...
I use forum 9.73
I read the answer i had to do in the administration, but I can not find this page SEO !

This is not an option in 9.73 only version 10 has the URL Rewriting option that uses the static links instead of rewriting on the fly.

Ok but what can i do to cancel URL Rewriting with forum 9.73 ??

In 9.73 to have enabled URL Rewriting you would have needed to download the separate URL rewrite Tool and placed either a web.config or an .htaccess file in your forums root folder. To remove URL Rewriting you remove this file.
