When testing version 10 Beta 2 has encountered a problem with displaying characters in the encoding win-1251. In the test we used the base version of Web Wiz Forums 9.68 (Access). Q: Are there plans to support other encodings other than utf-8?

In version 9.x you are running you can change the encoding by editing the includes/setup_options_inc.asp file in notepad and change the page encoding.

Version 10 has this option moved to the admin area from where you can set the page encoding.

Thank you for your very quick reply.
The problem is that the administrator's name indicated on the Cyrillic (win-1251), in connection with this administrator can not go to the forum under its own name, and therefore can not change the settings. If only to have another user (in the old database) and give it administrator rights ...

In general the problem solved.

Sorry, I write through the translator.

Hello again.
Please tell me whether it is possible to make support for Win-1251 encoding in chat window and Kaledare events? Since this version of the characters do not display correctly. Thank you.

It may not be as these use AJAX with XML to get the data from the server which does not tend to support non English characters very well.

I use utf-8 and :
<%@ CodePage=65001 Language="VBScript"%>
for all files. chat and other parts are working good but email notification not.
Session.LCID  settinig can not help me

check:
<%@ CodePage=1251 Language="VBScript"%>
instead of
<%@ Language="VBScript"%>
