Subject: Web Wiz Forums 10 does not install

When I install Web Wiz Forums Version 10 I get the following message:

"HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

The page you requested can not be accessed because the related configuration data to the page is invalid."

It maybe that you do not have the IIS 7 Rewrite Mod installed on the server. Try deleting the web.config file from the root of your forum and see if that fixes the issue.

If it does could you let me know what Operating System you are using on the server?

Thanks, deleting the web.config file solved the problem.

The operating system I use on my server is Windows 7 64Bit Ultimate with IIS7.

I am now having HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

The error means that you have enabled URL Rewriting in the SEO page in the admin area.

You do not have the IIS 7 Rewrite Mod installed on your computer, which is why you had to delete the web.config file and so you would need to disable URL Rewriting from the admin area.
