I need to have members addresses included in the registration so for ease I thought I'd just change some of the existing fields such as the MSN and Yahoo ones.

What do I need to change to be able to achieve this?

Thanks

You may need to change the field sizes in the database if you require more data to be stored.

Also these fields are passed through security filters when read in to prevent malicious code, depending on what type of data is stored you may need to change the security filter that is used.

I am trying a similar thing - the msn and yahoo fields work fine holding an address and city except I am also trying to use strAvatar to hold a postcode although it registers fine when i look at update profile nothing is displayed...

I am thinking the field has been filtered on submission.

I have removed some of the register.asp that checks its an image file but it still isn't displayed - are there any other filters and where are are they?

Thanks...

Hi,

I just having the same idea of changing the registeration form. But, as you talk about the security filter. Where can i locate that?

If i tried to get rid of the Signature in the register form, is it possible? and what are files that also have connection with the Signature so that i can delete them.

Please help.

Regards,

Lee
