I was trying to upgrade to v10, but I get thiese errors (link to screenshot): http://www.gjelberg.no/miscpics/databasefailure.jpg" rel="nofollow - http://www.gjelberg.no/miscpics/databasefailure.jpg

I think the errors occured when I upscaled from Access to MSSQL a while ago.
However, the database worked well with v9, so I didn't notice any problems.
After this failed upgrade to v10, the whole forum is unaccessible.

Any ideas on how to fix this ?

The upgrade wizard is not able to upgrade your database the error is:-

Cannot find the object "table-name" because it does not exist or you do not have permissions.

The error is saying that the table does not exist or you do not have permission to modify the tables in the database.

Make sure that you are connecting to the correct database and that the user you are connecting to the database with has DBO (database owner) permissions on that database to be able modify the database schema.

Nice.
Now it works.

But there is one thing:
The tables had been created with different owners when I created the database at the hosting company.
This caused the upgrade wizard in WW v10 to modify only the tables where it had permissions, leaving the other tables unchanged, which in turn led to a corrupted database.
I had to restore a backup and run it all over again to get it right.

Maybe the upgrade wizard should have some kind of test-mode to prevent this ?

I get following error after upgrading from WW9.x to 10.01, when I want to insert new post or topic:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the Forum Administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_save_new_post_data
File Name:- new_post.asp

Editing of the ports don't have any error and I can edit them successfully.

Please start a new topic on your issue as your issue is not related Pilsener's issue.

If you have a new issue then you should always start a new topic instead of posting in existing topic which quite often is unrelated to your own issue.
