If a Topic is locked then no-one can post in that Topic including Admins and Moderators.

You would need to unlock the Topic to allow Posting in that Topic.

9.50 is many years old now so I could not tell you how that works, all I can tell you is that in the latest version 9 and 10 Admins and Moderators can not post in locked topics.

For security, performance and support reasons you should upgrade to the latest 9.74 version, or the new version 10.01.

ok I will try new version.
I have a question about v10
is it possible to run both v9.50 and v10 same time (same sql server) / different directories for evaluation?

It may work but some items like Points count would not be updated in version 10 when members post in version 9.You may also get 'NULL' values recorded in some version 10 fields for new items like topic rating and post thanking which could cause errors.

I think, when upgrading v9.5 to v10, setup process will change sql database structure?
if changed, will v9.5 work properly?

I want to use same database, when v9.5 and v.10 runs seperate directories. is it possible?
v10 errors not important.
