I have several users complaining that when they write something in the chat room they get the error: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'.
I have not had this problem myself so it is not a general error.
Does anybody else have this problem?

Also the users have come up with a couple of suggestions to the chat room:
- emoticons
- the number of active users visible in the Chat-link at the top of the forum - so you know when there are people to chat with in the chat room.
- private messages only visible to the specified user

Improvments have been made to the next release in regards to escaping characters which should help with the error message some of your user are getting.

Emoticons are supported in the present release, including ones like :) and ;), which when typed are converted in to Emoticons.

The number of active users in the chat is a good idea and will need to look to see if it is something that can be implemented.

Private chat rooms are not currently supported, but this may come in the future.

Okay, I used it with a nose :-) and that didn't work.

How about a list of emoticons at the bottom of the chat window?

It wasn't so much a private chat room as a private message to a named recipient inside the public chat room.
