I'm planning to move my forum to another server, and to use v10.01 on the new server.
Do I need to run the database upgrade wizard for this ?
Or can I just edit the database_settings.asp file manually to suit the server ?

Use the install/upgrade wizard and select that it is a version 10 upgrade.

This will then set the correct settings in the configuration files.

The database is not upgraded between versions in the same family.
