Currently you are not able to see this who has thanked yourself for a post. However, there is sufficient data within the database that this could be added and a future feature.

Where in the forum system would you like to see this information available?

may I chime in with ---
That's a great idea. some places I've been a member of put such information into a person's "profile area". It's an area I'd go to telling me stats about myself, how many posts I've made, how many  I started, who thanked me, different credits for things, etc.
It's a page - similar to the member control panel area, but it's just stats about yourself as a member.

Just some thoughts - wow, some great ideas come out here.

At the bottom of each post, I would like to see the list of people who have thanked for this post.

Not sure if that would such a good idea in that position as it would require extra database lookups within the page itself which would affect performance. Also the database does not record the date when the members has been thanked, just who thanked them to prevent the same member giving thanks for a post more than once.

For me, it's a suitable position to know who has thanked me, in which post. If you're worry about the performing, allowing Admin to enable/disable this feature?
The date is not very important.
Thanks.

I'd personally rather see it in my forum profile......... then it's private.... and would display only if I hit my own profile, not on each page displayed.

I can see all sides of the request so can't render opinion otherwise.

I think having it incorporated with the post is more appropriate for most forums. Public recognition encourages posting.
It should have the ability to be toggled off for performance reasons though.

Agree with dpyers!
I wonder if it is available in the next release, Bruce ?

Hi there,

A more simple version could be:
A little mouseover attached to the 'Thanks(1)', the mouseover will only tell who has thanked, not when og why.

Kind regards
Allan
