Hi,

I just wrote a very long post that got rejected due to the spam filter. You should allow us to retrieve the post. A lot of data was lost when I posted.

In a summary, I wrote is there any way you can do a batch delete by member in their profile? We just got spammed really bad with them selling many different things, and it starting to get really time consuming. 2 of us spent maybe 1 hour today deleting posts 1 by 1. They posted just outside the flood settings.

If you cannot add this feature, can you tell me what is required in a hidden script I could write? To delete a member's posts, and their topics, what needs to be done to not mess up anything in the datbase? I am sure there are connections between tables. I guess I could try to figure it out, but you know best! Maybe delete the topics started by them first, then their posts? Anything else needs deleting?

I will copy this so it will not get lost if the spam filter gets it.

Thanks,

Steve

A spam nuker feature is on the todo list and should be in a future release very soon.

Great!

Another idea would be to allow the admin to set the number of posts a member could have where it would bypass the spam filter. So if a user has 10 posts, the filter would not apply. I would hate to have a long post rejected by a valuable forum member with all their work lost! Or maybe have it optionally go to Pending Approval status as an option.

Thanks,

Steve

You can configure the spam filter to require approval of posts rather than reject them, so that members do not loose posts.
