I have one forum where I want to give create rights for Polls to guest users. If I only give create and vote rights, guest users can go through the create a poll process, but after pressing the post button, they will end up in the main forum area, instead of in their newly created poll, which isn't created after all! The only way to fix this is to give them post topic rights as well. So "create poll" rights only seem to work if "post new topic" rights are given too. But this does give them the opportunity to post non poll topics as well
