How can I place into the default_style.css a image instead of a background color? What is the line to place?

If you want to add a background image to the page, add the part in red to your CSS file so it looks like this:

body {
    background: #fffff url(/path/to/your/image/here.gif);
}

The part in blue is the background colour, you can leave this as it is.

Still have another question. Were vcan I resice the widte of the forum?

There is no way to change the size of the forum in one go, how ever you can resize the tables by altering the "basicTable" and "tabletBorder" widths.
