i was messing up with my forum and i clicked the archive topics, now all my forum topics are locked... how do i unlock them all... there are 1000+ posts in them and each topic is locked. help.

The only thing you can do is go through and unlock every topic within the main forum.

It maybe quicker to open the database and do it directly in there.

IbneSyed - what about an SQL statement to unlock them all. Without looking at the forum variables I'd imagine it would be something like this:

SQLstr = "UPDATE tblForum SET locked = no*

*not sure if it would be true/false, 0/1, or yes/no without looking at the DB --- though my guess would be yes/no

Can anyone else chime in here? Will that work for him? I'd test it on a backup copy of your DB first.

If you are using access try editing the correct table!
