The mySQL version uses a very different database schema to the Access version. Moving from Access to mySQL and having a stable working database would not be possible.

I do not turn that access on mysql, the structure is really different, but I compared the mysql tables and accessories, and all fields have the same name and properties, only the tables tread author and has the position of some other fields, but generate the scriptbefore I put in the

Moving the database from Access to mySQL is not supported. This has been told to you in other posts.

The database tables and fields may have the same names, but as mySQL is not a relational database relationships and foreign keys will have been dropped, and other data types will have been changed.

I am yet to see a Web Wiz Forums database that has been moved from Access to mySQL and run stable without problems, hence why this is not supported and we would be unable to give you any further support for your forum.

You will have problems, and as we do not support this please do not post for others as will have a support nightmare dealing with issues from people trying to move to mySQL from Access.

Instead you should upsize your database from Access to SQL Server as both are Microsoft Relation Database Systems (RDMS). This is supported.

mySQL works best with PHP and we do see allot of issues caused by the rather buggy myODBC drivers that are required for ASP to talk to mySQL databases. The mySQL version is now only included for legacy reasons when SQL Server use to cost allot of money.
