You must have edited this file as line 44 should be the copyright line.

This error usually mens that the recordset object you are trying to open is already open.

I look for it, but I must have something in my .... Ohh stop...

I got a skin... The Navigation Bar, so that not the line...

If blnActiveUsers Then

'Initialise the SQL variable with an SQL statement count the number of records

If strDatabaseType = "SQLServer" Then

strSQL = "EXECUTE wwfSpCountOfActiveUsers"

Else

strSQL = "SELECT Count(tblActiveUser.Author_ID) AS ActiveUser From tblActiveUser;"

End If

'Query the database

rsCommon.Open strSQL, adoCon   *****Line 44*****

'Read in the active users from the recordset

intActiveUsers = CInt(rsCommon("ActiveUser"))

'Close the recordset

rsCommon.Close

That's the line... I still have the ide'r, that network could be to fast from time to time, but if i can do something, I will... ´From here, it's only 1 out of 10 at the moment. I have no new user from outside the last 2 days...

That line is not part of the original code. If it's a mod you should contact the person who wrote the MOD.

Isn't the connection opened in common.asp, not the nav buttons page? That means a page that includes both of them would try to open that connection twice, so maybe that's the error? I still consider myself a newbie, so... comment it out and see what happens...

Could be, and then, the navigation bar is reloading together whit the rest of the site... And I only get the error when the e-mail has been used. I take and look at it and get back whit the answar (I hope) in a few days

Maybe the person who created this mod to make it compatible with the forum code that already exsists should create a new recordset object with a different name to those that already exsist in the forum.

This way this conflict won't happen with the forum code that already exsists.
