I'd like to know if I can use a bracket or code around some text in a post to only show it if the visitor(s) are logged in. If not, can this be an upcoming feature? I'd like to offer teasers to get people to subscribe to the forum.

If you have a look at the BBcodes link there are BBCodes for HIDE which will hide the content within the HIDE BBcode brackets from non logged in visitors.
