The "Watch this Forum" option seems hidden under forum options - is there any variable or function I can use to bring it out, say in the intro post to the forum? If not, can you tell me what page/line(s) generate the Watch/Unwatch forum menu item?

I'd like to get more people to be aware that just because they registered they won't necessarily get email of updates.

Ideally, it would be nice if all new members were offered a list of forums to subscribe for emails.

This would do a good job of promoting the forum and email subscriptions, and overall forum activity.
