Is the Mass Email Tool removed?

Are you referring to the mass email tool from version 7? This tool was not very good and was removed around 6 years ago.

You can use the Web Wiz NewsPad application to send Newsletters and Blog Posts to members via email:-

ok thanks, I'll try that, but do I need a separate SQL database just for this?

NewsPad can share the same database as Web Wiz Forums.
