 Starting from today you will be able to register and renew UK Domain Names through Web Wiz for between 1 and 10 years. Nominet, the non-prophet body who manage the UK name space have changed the way UK Domain Names can be registered allowing 1 to 10 year registrations instead of 2 year period registrations. This change will give customers the opportunity to lock in their UK Domain Names for up to 10 years, giving greater security, longer period between renewals and can also aid with Search Engine Optimisation. The price for a single year for UK Domain Name Registrations and Renewals will remain the same at £3.95, while UK Domain Name Registrations and Renewals for multiple years (eg. 2 to 10 years) will be at the new lower price of just £2.95 per year.
