I have a forum set up for Moderators and only the Moderator Group has been allowed access. However I find out tonight that a few users have been able to read the Moderators Forum using "scraping software". It's the first I've heard of it. Is there a way to prevent "scraping software" from accessing a restricted forum? Thanks.

Sounds like you have a permissions issue or one of your admin or moderator accounts that has permission to access this forum has been compromised.

Scraping software would not have some special way to access restricted content. It works in the same way as a browser would but caches the content and packages it for off-line viewing.

The page below explains how it works:-
