I've upgraded to premium edition.

I can create a new forum ok, but when i go to forum here, i get the following error:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while executing SQL query on database.
Please contact the Forum Administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_get_topics_data
File Name:- forum_topics.asp
Forum Version:- 10.11

What is the issue? I'm using SQL Server 2005.

You've not installed the SQL 2008 version have you?

The SQL2008 and SQL2005 versions seem to be the same to me?

Solved issue myself. Changed this in file called /database/database_settings.asp to false.

'*** Advanced Paging - Performance Boost ***

'Set this to true for advanced paging in SQL Server 2005/2008 and mySQL

'If you use SQL Server 2005/2008 or mySQL this will give a massive performance boost to your forum

blnSqlSvrAdvPaging = false

This is not documented anywhere i can see so hope it helps someone.

The error means that you are either using SQL Server 2000 or if a later version of SQL Server then you have set the compatibility mode for the forums database to SQL Server 2000.

When you upgrade next make sure you select SQL Server 2000 as the database version so that the advanced paging variable (blnSqlSvrAdvPaging) is not set to True.
