I have some issues.

1. Before I upgraded on my first installed I was able to make the reply boxes white in contrast to the blue background of the forum so that the user can clearly see what they were writing. I forgot how to do it. Any ideas on how to do this?

2. For the Facebook ID, should I use the whole Facebook url or just the last part. My url is like Facebook.com/mysite. I tried both and it did not register at all.

3. In the code I change the Boolean value from false to true for the notifyemail variable. However, this does nothing to make the box checked as default. How do I go about doing this?

4. I have articles on my site, can I use these article url for the newsletter or it must be the news pad?

1. This would be done by editing the CSS style sheet you are using for your forum.

2. The Facebook ID would like like 12345678. I can not remember off hand where you find it in facebook as they keep changing things. If you look through the facebook help though it should hopefully tell you.

3. The user would set their email preference in their own profile. Forcing users to have email notifications without them opting in themselves would be illegal in most countries under anti-spam laws.

4. NewsPad articles can be shown on the forums homepage. This would only work with NewsPad.
