Something strange about my forum (v9.x)

in Chrome when I attempt to login to admin panel it says : security code(captcha is wrong) so I couldn't login to admin panel

in other browser, I could log in to admin panel, but, inside admin area, every page gives error "insufficient permission" etc.

is it related to cookies?
what can I do?

please help, its urgent :(

You have not said which 9.x version you are running. I know some 9.x versions had a session bug that would cause this type of issue.

I would suggest upgrading to either the latest 9.x version or better still version 10.x. Both are available on the Web Wiz Forums download page at  http://www.webwiz.net/web-wiz-forums/forum-downloads.htm" rel="nofollow - http://www.webwiz.net/web-wiz-forums/forum-downloads.htm

version 9.50
unfortunately I can not upgrade to v10, because I did lots of modifications and this version is OK for me.
This problem occured after server upgrade.
Me (as admin) and users get lots of problems with logins, active topics, captcha etc.
How can I fix this session problem? is it related IIS or anything else?

It does sound like a session issue, but with the server.

Make sure that the application pool your forum is running in on the server is not recycling and that it has a single worker process.
