Hi,

I've built a google map which is intergrated into a php forum. Anyway I'm trying to reproduce this in a webwiz forum.
I'm new to asp so its a steep learning curve for me but i'm getting use to it.
the map and draggable pin is all coded.
aurthor table now has two extra fields, Long and Lat. this will be the members position which on the google map he or she will be able to drap and submit his or her place.

this is all controlled un the members control panel.

The question I have is, I need to call these two new fields to use on the page and would like to know some code I can call them. Also I would like to update the table with the new data from the same page.

Any help would be great

I've moved on a little now. I want to update the changes i've done back to the aurthor table.
I have two fields, Lat and Long. I would like to update both with the new form data I have, how do I do that?
Anyone????

I would suggest searching Google for database tutorials on inserting data in to a database from Classic ASP as it would probably be far simpler following a step by step tutorial then someone trying to answer quite a complex question in a short forum post.
