Hi

Image uploading via the input type=file now appears to be supported in iOS6 and above (using safari) and Android (galaxy tab 10.1 running 3.1 and SII - running 4.0.3) using the default android browser. Not sure if there's already a thread dedicated to this - I tried searching for iOS6, but the search blocked it (too short).

I have tested it in our forums and it worked (sort of). We're getting a few odd things;

 - subsequent image uploads are returning an "image with same file name already exists" error - when the file names are different.
 - when you upload the file and the upload process is finished the pop up displays "no file chosen" next to the upload button. Yes when you close the pop-up the image is in the editor box and displays correctly when you  submit the post.

We're using the latest version 10.14.

Anyway - guess you'll still be working on this one - but thought I'd post what we've found so far with our testing if it helps.

Cheers
Craig

Apples tight restrictions on what runs on their deceives make it impossible to get anything to work.

The issues mention are due to bugs in Apple Safari not following standards. It may be fixed in future releases from Apple, but there are no workarounds.
