Good morning, I notice the recent note saying that hosting is now on SQL Server 2012 Currently I have my databases on mssql4.websitelive.net which
is SQL Server 2008. Will I wake up one morning and find that it has suddenly
become SQL Server 2012 or will we get advance notification of any change, or will stay 2008 until in breaks down Thanks and bye Ian ------------- Why does anyone need more than an 80x25 character only VDU? |

The server you are on mssql4.websitelive.net, is running SQL Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 2. As upgrading database servers can break customers applications there are no plans to change the version of SQL Server that is running on mssql4.websitelive.net. The only time we would consider changing the version of SQL Server is when it is no-longer supported by Microsoft. Currently SQL Server 2012 is available on new hosting packages on our Windows 2012 IIS8 platform.
