I need to display a date in a specific format.  I cant seem to understand the webwiz built-in "dateformat" function.  Is there a simple way for me to call dateformat (or someother built in function!) and get back a string date value formatted as yyyymmdd with no slashes or spaces or anything, just the numbers?

If not, I will have to write something to take the date string dtmEventDate and parse it into yyyy and mm and dd and write it back out the way I need it.  Im lazy, and was wondering if you already had this built into your dateformat function.

Thanks!

The format of dates displayed in Web Wiz Forums can be changed from the Time and Date configuration page within the admin area.

I know, but that changes it everywhere.  I need to change it for a specific purpose (another system API), not everywhere on the forum, and it cant have the slashes in it.
