Help. I broke my forum. Can anyone help me with this error?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The search key was not found in any record.

/forum/active_users.inc, line 196

Also can I upgrade to version 7 and still keep all of the users and posts?

Thanks!

You database has become corrupted, download and use the compact and repair toll in access.

The problem is that access can't cope with the number of updates required for the active users table.

Upgarde to version 7 of the forum and keep the active users fetaure turned off so that this doesn't happen again.

The compact and repair tool is found in Access itself. Depending on the version it is under Tools---Database Utilities from the menu bar. There is an ASP compact/repair script but I have never used it.

Turning off the active users is under the admin section of v7.x.

After repairing your database, you can upgrade and keep your posts with the upgrade utility found here:

Follow the instructions and there are some posts here with additional information on upgrading.
