I have been trying out the mobile function on Web Wiz forums, and all works fine apart from one thing...

When you create a new post or reply to a post the form is too big for the page and the rest of the page shrinks to fit.

I'm not sure if this just happens on my phone or if it happens on all, here is a screenshot of this forum on my phone so you can see what I mean...

You need to dump Apple and get a phone that does not restrict what can be run on it. You will then get better mobile support with WYSIWYG Post Editor and image uploads.

There is not much that can be done with Apple as they restrict what runs on their devices.

I don't have an iPhone, it's a Samsung Galaxy S3.

It all works fine, it just the width of the text box is too big for the rest of the mobile page.

Try a different browser rather than  the stock browser which is based on Apple Safari. Firefox and Opera on Android both support WYSIWYG and image uploads.

There's not any issue with usage of the editor, it works fine on my mobile browser.

The issue is that the text box is too wide for the mobile page.

You should use Firefox as this is the same one that I use and I have had no issues with this.. you should really consider the browser it might help you..

Tried in Chrome and Firefox and it's still the same, the box is just too big for the mobile page.

Please look at this page on your mobile and tell me the quick reply box is the same width as the rest of the page? It isn't, it's wider.

It's all very well me changing my browser but what about everyone else who visits my site? It needs to work for them too.

Terryh are you using the most up to date version on your own site?  I know there was a few tweaks that were taking into effect with the latest version.

I'm looking at this page on my phone and it's exactly the same. I presume this is the newest version on here.

I would like to see a screenshot of this page on your mobile so I can make sure I'm not going mad.

If the screenshot includes the quick reply box, I'm sure it'll show it going off the page.
