OK first things first.....please speak English or explain what you mean. Although I do most of my site work myself, I am what we would deem 'puter stoopid'

I have a website www.mumsreview.co.nz that I am trying to put a forum onto but alas, to no avail.
I installed the forum folder into my directory and I'm pretty sure it's the right one as it's where everything goes. It's the same one my blog (which I haven't played with yet) is put and that seems to work just fine.
The server used Control Panel and when I look at the pictures that are given when you look at how to modify permissions etc, it's totally different to mine so I ticked them all but this doesn't seem to be anywhere near what I need to be doing and I guess this is also where I am getting totally confused.

Has anyone installed this forum onto a server that uses Control Panel and can give me some indication as to what I'm doing wrong

Thank you in advance to anyone who is game enough to try and help me lol

Could you please explain what ' Control Panel' is?

Are you referring to Windows Control Panel or many web host provide Hosting Control Panels but there are 100's of different control panels provided by web hosts.

If the Control Panel is a Hosting Control Panel provided by your hosting provider you should contact them on how to change permissions.

You should also ask your provider if you are on a Windows Web Server with support for Classic ASP.
