Hi, just searched online to find noarchive code for googlebots.

Is it: <meta name="googlebot" content="noarchive">

Or:
<meta name="googlebot" content="noarchive" />

Or does it not matter?

Yeah similar it stops google putting pages in Cache, but does it end with > or /> because I have seen different versions and want to know if it matters?

Whether it ends in a / or not depends on your version of HTML.

/ is only used if it is XHTML. If it's HTML5 then you wouldn't include the /

What is your DOCTYPE?

It depends on the version of HTML , Both are correct whether it ends with " / " or without slash. one is used in XHTML and another we can use in HTML or HTML 5.

If you're ever in doubt just validate your HTML, it'll pick up the DOCTYPE and tell you if you need it or not! :) Same for img tags!
