hi guys,

i was thinking of having paying members so they can access certain topics and recieve discounts for events etc etc, i was wondering out i could set this up. i want the certain posts locked to non paying members and paying members be able use those topics.

i hope i have exlained myself well?

You can not block access to selected topics within a forum but you can use the permission system to allow access to selected forums by only certain member groups.

You can set which groups can access a forum by editing the forum in the admin area of using the Group Permission system within the admin area.
