Dear,

After updating the forum, the system is showing accentuation errors.

No forum looks like this:
Horrio atual em So Paulo: 11:41am
ltima visita foi 10/Dez/14 as 10:52am

Already changed the settings in "Setup & Configuration> General Settings> Page Encoding" for 8859-1 and does not work.

Please need help!

It maybe that you previously used UTF-8 for the forum page encoding as this was the default for many years with previous versions of Web Wiz Forums.

Try changing the page encoding to UTF-8 and see if that solves the issue.

Do you recall what page encoding you used previously?

If not it might be a case of going through and trying each one.

Dear,

I have done all the tests and can not solve the scoring problem, already put all Page Encoding and does not work the accent.

Here is an example of the text to be translated to Portuguese.

Take the example of translation: http://www.futgol.com.br/language_files/language_file_inc.asp.txt

OK so this is for language files and not for forum posts?

If that is the case then the information I have given is incorrect. What you need to do is to change the encoding of the language files by saving them in which ever test editor you are using as UTF-8 instead of as ACSII.

Allan, entendeu a resposta ?  É chatinho mesmo esse problema, mas ache um editor que vc consiga salvar o encoding do arquivo em si. Me manda MP se não conseguir

Sorry... just telling that the .asp file itself has encoding, so If the encondings are different, it messes up.

Olá Pedro,

Obrigado por tentar ajudar neste post.

Infelizmente não consegui converter o formato do arquivo, se vc poder ajudar nessa conversão, ficarei eternamente grato.

Bruce,

I downloaded a new version of FORUM, and the original version added a character (A, C, ... õ) in the file "language_file_inc.asp". I changed the administration panel all "Page Encoding" and did not work.

Should it be any restrictions IIS?

Your problem come due to the fact that files language_files which you use were recorded in UTF8, it is therefore enough to open every file with an editor (Notpad for instance) and  record file in encoding 8859-1 then to send them by FTP to the repertoire Language_files of your website.

iconv -f iso-8859-1 -t utf-8 arquivo.txt > arquivo_novo.txt
