Hi there,

I am trying to integrate the newspad with webwiz forum but keep getting ODBC DSN issue...

Data source name not found and no default driver specified

I have set up the MySQL DSN on the server have the fields filled in correct for location and database name but it will not allow the integration. I don't recall having these issues on previous use of the applications. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I would advise to use a DSN-less connection as these are faster and easier to setup.

So out the many files that make up the application which ones am I suppose to be looking at to achieve this dsn-less connection ?

You said that you setup a MySQL DSN, which you do not need to do as Web Wiz NewsPad uses a DSN-less connection for the Web Wiz Forums integration.

What you do need to do is check that you have the myODBC 3.51 driver installed on the server that you are running NewsPad on.
