I have installed 11.04 and I noticed that the folder names used inside the uploads folder are numeric and no longer the usernames, as was the case in 7.9. This means that I can't easily correlate what is in a folder with which user created it, and I will have an old folder and a new one for each user.

Is that intentional or did I miss an option somewhere?

This change was made back when Web Wiz Forums version 8 came out around 10 years ago when the upload system was rewritten with improved support for non English usernames.

Members upload folders have since then used the members ID for the their upload folder with an XML file within the upload folder containing the members forum username.

Other features introduced at the time also included better file management within the forum for managing the members upload folder.

Members can manage their upload folder themselves through the Member Control Panel.

Forum admins and moderators can also manage members upload folder through members forum profiles by clicking on the option to Edit the Members Settings.
