We're getting lots of these errors lately across a number of different forums. The only thing I can find in common is that the users are on IPv6 addresses that get the issue.

Is there anything I can do to change the IPv6 settings?

When you upgraded your forum to 11.x did you run the database setup/upgrade wizard?

If not you will need to manually increase the size of the "IP_addr" filed in the "tblThread" table.

If you are running SQL Server run the following query against your database;

ALTER TABLE tblThread ALTER COLUMN [IP_addr] nvarchar(50)

Thanks - obviously not since it was still set to 30 on all the forums!
