The error 'err_SQLServer_update_no._views' occurs when you read forum posts to update the number of times the topic has been read.

For this error to occur suggests that there is an issue with your forums SQL Server database.

It could be that the database has run out of space and is no longer able to grow to write the update to the database.

Thanks Bruce,

This is what my server admins are telling me...

The admins advised that triggers would need to be removed from your tables, and provided the below for reference:

There are no triggers used in Web Wiz Forums.

I have seen triggers created when moving from Access to SQL Server by migration tools.

As Web Wiz Forums does not use any triggers any triggers that you have in your web wiz forums database can be removed.

Is there an easy way to delete these triggers? What am I going to need?

I have limited experience with databases.

The previous post with the link in it refers to some code but doesn't go into detail how to use it.

If you migrated the database from Access the migration process often creates a number of constraints which stop the database from working as it should.

These constraints are not needed so you can go through the database in SQL Server studio manager and edit each table and if you find any constraints delete them.

I have gotten as far as running SQL Server 2008 R2 (after googling the error I was getting without the R2 version) I still get the same error trying to delete triggers.

"Index was outside the bounds of the array" (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)

From Googling this error it looks like it is an issue with SQL Server 2008 R2 that is fixed by applying Service Pack 2 to SQL Server 2008 R2.
