Dunno if I should post this under the NewsPad section or not. It considers both.
I get this message (almost) every time while NewsPad is connected with
the WebWiz Forums. Tried to delete shift+enters and replaced them with
just enters, Keeps saying the same.
Live in Belgium, so tried Unicode and Western Europe in the Admin section, none of this helps.
Also,
I don't know if this is a bug or not. When i go to my forum site, it
says "error connecting to the DB" for NewsPad blogs, when i refresh the
page, I get the above error.

Unfortunately I am unable to have a look as your website is running on the non standard port 83 which is not open from our office firewalls.
Your posts is not clear so I am guessing you are referring to the newspad news items displayed on the home page of your forum?
This reads the news items from the RSS Feed of NewsPad. RSS uses XML which tends to only like ASCII characters and does tend to throw errors if you use non ASCII characters .

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I am referring to the newspad news items displayed on the home page of the forum.
It's rather strange. When I retype the blog, plain text, it doesn't show the error, couple of days later,: same thing. I will take a look how to use XML properly.
